RMA Process

Return Material Authorization 

This page guides you through the process of obtaining a Return Material Authorization number. You need to follow the troubleshooting steps found on this page so that Det-Tronics can resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

Step 1

Complete an RMA Request form as completely as possible. The form is available online here and in paper form available under Additional Resources to the right.

Technical Support will review your information and issue an RMA number if your issue warrants it. Here are some things to consider with any RMA:

  • If the material is not in warranty, we will need a Purchase Order (PO) before starting repairs.
  • If it is in warranty and you eligible for Advance Replacement, a PO is needed that covers the cost of the replacement materials.
  • Materials returned for credit must be in new/unused condition and are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Pack a copy of the RMA form with the materials you are returning. Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the packaging. 
Important: Any shipment received without an RMA number clearly displayed will be refused. 

Step 4

Ship the material to the address provided by Technical Support. 

Step 5

Upon receipt of your shipment, we will begin processing your RMA request.

Step 6 Check the status of your RMA via phone or email.

Note: Det-Tronics will attempt to reapply custom configurations to match the product's received state. If this is not possible, the equipment will be returned to factory default settings.
